The Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park is the largest hot spring in the United States. With a diameter of 113 meters, it discharges up to 2,100 liters of water per minute, but bathing is prohibited because the water is harmful to humans.
The spring’s vivid colors are created by the interplay of bacteria and temperature, offering a different spectacle with each season.
