Technological Development Organizations

Overview

The target of technological development organizations is to contribute to reviewing and formulating climate change adaptation measures by local governments, establishing a common basis for versatile utilization throughout Japan. The achievements obtained from the Program are to be stored in the Data Integration and Analysis System (DIAS), which would then disseminate the data widely. Thus, the local governments can take the initiative in evaluating and developing climate change adaptation measures even after the completion of the Program by using the achievements in the DIAS. All the organizations cooperate to set forth the utilization guidance of the DIAS, create tools for formulating climate change adaptation measures, and disseminate the achievements of the Program, which are conducted by social implementation organizations.
