“ALOS Data Analysis Training Seminar”

The ALOS data analysis training was conducted in Brazil targeted at researchers and students in the fields of remote sensing, bionomics, environment, meteorology and geography, etc., with the purpose of monitoring changes in vegetation and climate in the Amazon forest.

The ALOS data analysis training was also provided in Mexico for Mexican researchers who study wetlands with the purpose of monitoring wetland and land cover along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

“Hands-on Exercise on RS/GIS for Forest Monitoring and Assessment for FAO Regional Workshop”

As part of the support for the FAO in hosting the “Regional Workshop on Updated Forest and Carbon Monitoring Technologies in Asia and the Pacific,” an RS/GIS training course for forest monitoring and assessment was conducted given for engineers and researchers involved in forest monitoring in each country.
