Record of Training
The Remote Sensing Technology Center of Japan (RESTEC) has recognized the importance of human resource development for dissemination of remote sensing technology. Since its foundation, RESTEC has provided various kinds of training courses on utilization of remote sensing for researchers, national and local government personnel and general public at home and abroad including developing countries.
In recent years, we have received many requests for participation in our training courses from a broader range of countries and regions in Japan. We are expected to offer more specialized courses to suit a variety of application. To conduct training projects more effectively, we have established the training system that meets a wide range of participant needs such as standardization of textbooks and maintenance of training tools.
The total number of training participants is over 5,000, and they are active in domestic and overseas application field using remote sensing.
