The result of the 7th GEOSS Asia-Pacific Symposium
The 7th GEOSS Asia-Pacific Symposium was successfully held from May 26 to 28, 2014 at Kokusai Fashion Center (KFC) Hall Tokyo, Japan. Total 238 participants from 20 countries and 10 regional and international organizations attended to the symposium and discussed the main theme “Benefits for Society from Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) evolution toward addressing Sustainable Development Goals”.

The symposium was organized by the secretariat of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan (MEXT).RESTEC organized this symposium as a local secretariat under the agreement with GEO.
