1. South African delegation completes its training program

On June 8, 2016, the trainees from South Africa completed the entire
training program arranged by RESTEC. During their one month stay in
Japan, they learned about the policy concerning Japan’s earth
observation, the theory of SAR, various applications of remote sensing…

2. JAXA Releases JERS-1 data free of charge

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has started providing
the observation data by the Japanese Earth Resources Satellite-1
(JERS-1) free of charge. The data can be searched and downloaded at
JAXA’s G-Portal at
https://www.gportal.jaxa.jp/gp/top.html

using any satellite data. Please feel free to send us (to:
e-news@restec.or.jp) few lines on your current activities along with
